Australian opener hayden has dismissed on siggestions that he has became a spent force in ODI. When asked about this to Matthew Hayden he said”i has no plans to retire from ODI” although selectors are in discusion about his future.Furthut he added “The big thing is I haven’t lost my passion for one-day cricket and while I’m performing there, I’ll keep playing it,”.
Hayden’s position in the team has become one of talking point among selectors, since players like shaun marsh and shane watson’s consistently preformaning and knocking the doors for the openeing slot.Even though hayden will turn 37 next month, remins the first choice and selectors are desperate to consult him on the best way to use in the next generation.
both Marsh and Watson doing considerably well, especially Shaun Marsh who is the son of former Australian vice-captain Geoff, has been a revelation, averaging 47.57 in his first eight outings in the international arena. But we all know that Hayden always remain trump card for Aussies because of his aggressive play and consistency.
